The diary consist of two books as well as a swatch of unbound pages that appear to have once been part of another book that was partially lost or destroyed. This photo shows the last of these unbound pages, containing WBG's May 26, 1865 entry, inserted chronologically next to the May 27, 1865 entry, which begins the first book.
